We are looking for a community - focused, forward-looking - that is a leader in music education to take on the role of dean of the music school. UNCSA offers talented young artists the experience, knowledge and skills they need to excel in their disciplines and in their lives. UNC SA is located in Winston - Salem, N.C., just a short drive from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in the heart of a vibrant, vibrant community of artists, students, faculty, staff and students.
The school offers a summer of music intensive and works with students from North Carolina State University, UNC - Chapel Hill and the UNC School of Music. Eva's other teaching activities include conducting the Greensboro Symphony Youth Strings and teaching drums at UNCSA. Peter teaches drums during the school year and is doing an internship at the Faculty of Instrumental Music at NC Governor's School in the West this summer.
Kleiankina has presented her contributions at regional and national conferences sponsored by the UNC School of Music, UNC - Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina. UNC students won first prize at the 2016 UNC Music Festival in Raleigh, NC for their performance of the "Piano Concerto for Drums" and KleianKina's "Drumming for Guitar," created for enrollment during UNCSA's first year of training in Durham, North Carolina.
Cykert has performed as a soloist in leading orchestras and ensembles in the USA and Europe. The ensembles in which she has played include the New York Philharmonic, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Symphony. She has also worked with soloists in the United States, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Germany. Elena has performed as an ensemble member at the University of California, San Diego, Berkeley, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco.
Doug Dryden of Charlotte and his son joined the business in 2010 and opened more stores in Jackson and Douglasville, Ga. Previous ventures have included building a dam in North Carolina and the Charlotte Dam. Gloria has taught physical education in England and is currently a summer camp consultant for the city of Greensboro and her previous efforts as a teacher in the United States and Canada.
He attended the Brevard Music Center, studied at Boston University's Tanglewood Institute, and earned his Bachelor of Music from UNC and his Master's degree in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He taught for two years with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra before moving to Greensboro, where he studied for four years. In 2013, he was awarded the John F. Kennedy Memorial Award for outstanding musical education for his work as a teacher and held the position of associate professor of music at UNC - Chapel Hills.
He is an active member of MTNA and currently head of music education at the Winston - Salem Chamber Music Association (WMNA).
Albany Records won the gold medal at the Global Music Awards and was voted one of the best of 2016 by the American Record Guide. Performed at the Philip Glass Glass 80 Festival and with the China Philharmonic Orchestra in Beijing. Performed at the Philip Glass' 80 Festival as part of his "Philip Glass' 80 Music Festival."
Alexander Amadeo's first piano concerto was also premiered in Syracuse, NY, and performed at the New York Philharmonic Orchestra's Philip Glass' 80 Music Festival. Performed at several major music festivals in the USA and abroad, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Chicago Opera and London Symphony. Chinese - American pianist Clara Yang performs her first solo concert in Beijing with the Chinese Philharmonic Orchestra.
Open the show at Armatrade and sing to a live audience of more than 2,000 people in a concert hall with a full orchestra.
In addition to his work as a musician, Peter is also the training director of the Greensboro Symphony, where he coordinates the training of the orchestra's young people and their music education programs. He graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hills.
Dr. Reynerson received his BM in Piano (MM / DM) from Murray State University and his B.A. in Music Education from Indiana University, where he was a faculty member under the direction of Dr. Jorge Dominguez, Professor of Music at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hills. Since 2006 he has been professor of piano at UNC - Chapel Hill and the Greensboro Symphony. Syracuse University to Capital University received its Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Musical Arts from Capital, where it won the Concerto Competition and took first place in the Competition in its first year of study.
Andy holds a B.A. in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hills and is currently an assistant professor of music at UNC - Chapel Hill and the Greensboro Symphony. He will also teach guitar (and sometimes piano, bass and ukulele) at Music Studios Creative in Greensborough, located at the Greensboro Cultural Center. Hahn may graduate from Duke University with a DMA in Collaborative Piano in fall 2016 and a Master of Music in Musical Arts in 2017.
